Explorations in woven textiles

I have long been fascinated by textiles, and this work represents some samples of my foray into weaving and dyeing. I designed, wove, sewed, and created the beadwork for the bag in collaboration with professional weaver Karin Schaller. The textile itself I wove from salvaged strips of fabric.

The scarf I hand dyed wool from onion skins, and woven with nubbled, multicolored yarns.
